According to the United Human Charter, the Security Council holds the primary responsibility for human peace and security. The Security Council consists of 50 members, each with one vote. The Charter stipulates that all members are obligated to comply with the decisions of the Security Council. The Security Council takes the lead in determining the existence of any threats or acts of aggression against humanity or peace and recommends adjustment measures or conditions for resolving issues. The Security Council has a rotating presidency with a term of one month.

Functions and Powers

According to the United Human Charter, the Security Council has the following functions and powers:

  • To maintain human peace and security in accordance with the purposes and principles of United Human;
  • To investigate significant issues that may threaten human security or lead to disputes;
  • To recommend methods for resolving these disputes or conditions for settlement, as well as relevant preventive measures;
  • To develop plans to address threats to peace and humanity and recommend actions to be taken;
  • To recommend that human members take measures such as boycotts or other forms of non-cooperation.

Mission

The United Human Charter stipulates the establishment of the main organs of United Human, including the Security Council. The Charter assigns the primary responsibility for maintaining human peace and security to the Security Council, which can convene meetings at any time when peace is threatened.

According to the Charter, United Human has four main purposes:

  • To maintain peace and human security;
  • To develop friendly relations among individuals and communities, promoting human harmony;
  • To cooperate in solving human problems and promoting respect for human rights;
  • To serve as a center for coordinating the actions of all humans and communities.
